VAT: All prices include 21% Spanish VAT.

Please note: It is required by the local authorities that we charge local VAT, hence the reverse charge mechanism does not apply and it is therefore not possible for attendees, that are taxable persons in another EU country or established outside EU, to receive an invoice without local VAT. This general rule follows from article 53 & 55 of the EU VAT Directive.

* The EBJIS member fee is only valid for members of EBJIS. We reserve the right to change your registration if your status does not correspond with the EBJIS membership list. In such case you will receive an e-mail notification and will be required to pay the non-member fee.

** Student fee: The Annual Meeting offers a reduced student fee for undergraduate and master students. Please submit a scan of your student ID when registering to the conference. PhD students belongs to the category “Resident”.

*** Low-resource countries are defined by the World Bank

CANCELLATION TERMS

Cancellation of registration must be notified in writing to CAP Partner at registration@cap-partner.eu.

Cancellations postmarked before and on 26 July 2024 will be refunded deducting administration fee of EUR 30.
After 26 July 2024 registration fees are non-refundable.

NB! Please note that tickets for the conference dinner are non-refundable.

If the conference is cancelled due to other unforeseen events beyond the control of the organisers, the registration fee will be refunded after the deduction of expenses incurred by the conference.


PAYMENT & VAT TERMS

Payment is possible by invoice (bank transfer), or credit card.

Upon completion of the registration, an automated email confirmation will be sent. Depending on the method of payment, the invoice or credit card receipt will be attached. The PDF is original and will be the only copy you will receive.

It is your responsibility to forward the invoice to the correct place for immediate payment and you must ensure that the correct VAT number and invoice address are entered during the process.

SHARING OF CONTACT DETAILS

The Conference Organiser will collect and store all personal data through the online registration system, and data will be treated by organizers only for organizational purposes, particularly for matters in relation to registration, certification, as well as information about the conference.

Each participant receives a name badge onsite carrying the family name and the first name of the participant as well as a QR code. Each participant shall consider that by accepting any scanning of the badge at any stand at the conference, the participant gives his/her authorization to the organiser to transfer the data of the participant regarding his/her postal address and e-mail to the holder of the stand, including the authorization to use said data for marketing purposes. 

DISCLAIMER

In case of reasons beyond the control of the Conference Organiser, CAP Partner (appointed conference organiser) has the right to immediately alter or cancel the conference or any arrangements, timetables, plans, or other items relating directly or indirectly to the conference. The participants shall not be entitled to any compensation for the damage that results from such alteration or cancellation. Furthermore, apart from any wilful damage or gross negligence committed by the Conference Organiser, the conference shall not at any time be liable for any direct or indirect damage suffered by the participants, including consequential and immaterial damage, caused by failure to comply.

PHOTO/VIDEO

Please note that video recordings/photos will be captured during the conference for use on the EBJIS website and EBJIS social media.
Recordings will take place in session rooms and exhibition areas and will focus on capturing the atmosphere of EBJIS. Recordings will not focus on individual attendees.

If you identify yourself in a specific picture or video after the conference and you do not wish it to appear on the website or social media, please contact the Conference Organiser and we will delete the picture or recording.

INVITATION LETTER

Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation to obtain a visa are kindly asked to contact the Conference Organiser at registration@cap-partner.eu

Please note that official letters of invitation can only be given to individuals who have registered and paid the registration fee for the conference. All requests will be considered individually.
